The New Era raised flooring system is a multi-component floor levelling system designed for installation over flat, uneven, or varying-height subfloors. The system consists of moulded plastic cradles, resilient pads, and softwood laminated battens. The cradles support the battens, onto which timber floorboards are fixed. The battens are levelled within the cradles using packing pieces where required. The product range includes configurations with different cradle heights, batten sizes, cradle spacing, and pad types. The system can provide finished floor construction heights from approximately 60 mm to 449 mm, depending on the selected cradle and batten configuration. The system is assessed in this EPD as 1 kg of installed New Era raised flooring system.
