Luxwall's Enthermal is a vacuum insulated glazing (VIG) window product with a total thickness of 10mm. The product consists of two sheets of tempered float glass—one clear and one Low-E coated—that are hermetically sealed together using inorganic sealing frit. Between the two glass panes, a designated vacuum layer is maintained using micro-pillars for structural support and getter material for vacuum preservation. Each unit contains a vacuum port at a single designated location, consistent across all product sizes offered in the Enthermal product line. Luxwall Enthermal energy-efficient technology delivers exceptional thermal insulation performance, achieving R-18 insulation values comparable to fiberglass wall insulation. The product demonstrates thermal insulation values (Ug) ranging from 0.3 to 0.5 W/m2K, representing superior energy efficiency for glazing applications. Enthermal has obtained voluntary CE marking, making it the first tempered vacuum insulating glazing solution in the world with these thermal insulation values to carry this certification, validating its performance and quality standards for the European market.
